Can I be a pilot in the RAF if my vision is corrected using laser eye surgery?

At the moment I am short sighted, yet I want to be a pilot in the RAF. I was wandering whether the RAF would still accept you as a pilot if you’ve had laser eye surgery.

They actually recommend that if this is a job you wish to go into then you can get correction surgery.

Yes, they would. There wouldn’t be a reason for them not to as for what they declined you earlier for is not a problem anymore.
