I got the PRK; it’s been nearly 2 years now and still one of the best things I have ever had done. A close friend of mine also had PRK done about 2 months ago and is now seeing 20/15. The only thing I know to recommend is an experienced doctor thats uses the WaveScan technology and the VISIX LASAR machine. I don’t the specific model numbers; but you can do the research online for VISIX.

I was thinking of having the surgery. Decided to test my endurance for this kind of pain. So, I laid down naked on top of a wooden dining table and shoved a knitting needle into my belly button. After a couple of “pops” I didn’t even feel a thing! Although I must have pushed too hard because I’m now stuck to the table. Still not sure about the surgery though, it looks pretty rough.

I should have known something wasn’t right, after the Doctor installed a set of goggles and a snorkel on my face, but what could I have done? I was out of it,from the drugs he gave me. I didn’t realize that L.S.D. was a common anesthetic used by doctors. I think I should retreive legal consultation, as I’m now impotent following that incident, and can no longer have sex with my Mom. it’s comparable to pushing a rope up a hill, though we still have fun with cucumbers and stale bagguettes.

I had this operation done. I don’t recommend it. While he was working on my eye, someone unzipped my pants and stuck something big and warm up my rectum. I complained but Dr. Ellington said it was part of the procedure. I can see fine but I have AIDS now. Has anyone else had the same problem with this procedure?

i’ve been thinking about eye surgery for a couple months now, and let me tell you Lasik is bullshit. Complications, risks and it requires more experience for the surgeon to do. PRK has a high infection risk, it takes a bit longer to recover and you may still get symptoms and side effects but still… it’s better than destroying your eye with lasik.

You are awake, but you can get a Xanax before so you wont be so nervous by the time of the operation. You will feel no pain at all so it is an unnecesary risk to be put asleep.

So as i mentioned there are two main types of laser eye surgery. One is Lasic and the other is Lasec or PRK. The threat with Lasic is that the flap can move in case of a small accident (you get kicked by a ball or get punched on the eye) even after years. The threat with the PRK and Lasec would be only if the machine is not set propery. So you should always go to a place where its beeing done for over a year.

The laser is not …
The laser is not the thing that cuts the flap, hence it can not be responsible for any porblems related to it coming off.
